Wuri Wuri is a passion project that began as a conversation between two best friends. What started as a creative way to share the love of Country soon took on a life of its own. Others soon embraced this distinctive way of seeing the world, and the company now ships its products to schools and universities as well as individual clients around the world.
Wuri Wuri founder, Gene Ross, was born on Gadigal land, with connections to North NSW, the Murray and North Queensland. His family experiences and life as a saltwater man bring a unique perspective to the art he creates for Wuri Wuri, celebrating the beauty and strength of Aboriginal culture.
Wuri Wuri conveys the story of Aboriginal people through education, sharing 65,000 years of knowledge and appreciating that the natural world and the spiritual world are one and the same.
